Save the date - 3rd Global Conference on Person-Centred Care

The University of Gothenburg Centre for Person-Centred Care (GPCC) is delighted to announce the 3rd Global Conference on Person-Centred Care (GCPCC), taking place in Gothenburg, Sweden, on 8–11 May 2028.

Optional pre-conference workshops will be held on 8 May, followed by the main conference programme. The conference will bring together diverse interdisciplinary and interprofessional perspectives on person-centred care. It will provide a meeting place for healthcare professionals, patients and family carers, researchers across disciplines, designers, artists, healthcare leaders and decision-makers, policymakers, and representatives from the healthcare industry. Through keynote presentations and parallel sessions, the conference will seek to connect and advance diverse perspectives, forms of knowledge, and approaches to person-centred care.

Contributions will be welcomed across a broad range of fields and may include empirical research; arts, media and performance; theoretical and philosophical inquiry; methodological developments; and practice-based work. A variety of formats for participation and presentation will be offered, with further details to be announced.

The conference will be held on site in Gothenburg.
